Cathy Miller dazzled the sold out audience today at the Wyckoff Area Garden Club’s fundraiser, “Cathy Miller: Flowers, Music & Me!” The event took place at the Ridgewood Public Library where Cathy shared stories of her White House days – creating dried flower arrangements for five presidents.

One lucky audience member took home the arrangement Cathy created during her presentation. A reception followed with delicate tea sandwiches, delectable desserts, and lemon water.

Each year the WAGC awards a horticulture college student a scholarship for their continued studies. The Sally Ditton Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of Sally Ditton who was a member of the WAGC and a Master Gardener before she passed in 2015.

The program’s interlude was Cathy playing one of her favorite tunes. Cathy was born into a musical family and played concert piano in her early teens.
